NYFW: Beauty trends we love for Spring 2017

New York Fashion Week is under way and the spring season is our dream come true because this season, less is more. Moving away from caked on contours and crazed colors, spring is all about a fresh face that perfectly compliments fresh skincare. Here are our top favorite beauty trends from the runway this week:

weathered
Weathered Wear from the Brock Collection

Weathered wear. No one’s perfect and neither is your beauty routine. As a stark departure from the perfectly curated looks seen on Instagram, many of the makeup looks appeared “worn in” as if it’s 3pm on a Monday. The result is sheer, romantic and surprisingly stunning.

Get the look: Bush up the brows a bit when you apply Oh Wow, Brow! and add a sun-kissed blush on the upper cheekbones with Spun Silk Cheek Color.

tommy
Nontoured from Tommy Hilfiger

Nontoured: The opposite of contouring, nontouring is a nod to the 90’s kids and is all about a clean, bare face with a thin layer of foundation.

Get the look: Apply a sheer layer of Long Wear Liquid Foundation and create a barely there eye look with Heavenly Sheen and Bronze Ink Eye Definer.

cushnie-et-ochs
Velveteen Lips from Cushnie Et Ochs

Velveteen Lips: Adding dewy moisture to velvet matte textures, bright pops of color have a fresh appeal for spring.

Get the look: Use Lip Difference as a base and apply a heavy layer of Passionberry Gloss Stick to for the pop of color. Line with Blossom Lip Definer and complete the look with Pink-A-Boo Face Paint.

reem
Flushed Cheeks from Reem Acra

Flushed Cheeks: With pale pinks, highlighter and shimmery hues, blush this season is super feminine yet super natural while accenting color on the upper cheek bone.

Get the Look: Add a sun-kissed flush high on the cheekbones with Flirt Cheek Color and highlight your natural features with the 24K Diamond Illuminator from Classic Couture 2.
